PIZZA ANYONE?
MY BEST ANALOGY FOR THE PAST DECADES OF DEMOCRAT DOMINANT ILLINOIS LEADERSHIP AND OUR CURRENT STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL SITUATION
TEACH THIS TO OUR YOUNGER GENERATIONS – THEY’LL GET THE PICTURE TOO!
I like PIZZA. I’ll bet that you do too. Let’s say we’re at your house, we’re all hungry and decided to put our hard earned money together to buy pizza for dinner. Some didn’t have enough to cover for their part, some had nothing at all and needed the group to help them out to cover for them, some of us put in more than our fair share, giving all we had in some cases, and some even paid a bargaining organization to negotiate for them how much pizza they could get. Regardless, the pizza was ordered, lots of it, and it came with everything on it, plus extraordinary toppings that most of us really didn’t want on it. The delivery driver arrived and delivered the pizza. Our government officials were also in the crowd. They reached into our pockets to pay the delivery man for us, and gave him a very generous tip for his quick service.
The elected officials and public sector union leadership fat cats (collective bargaining arm for the federal, state, county and municipal workers who are government paid teachers, police, fire, federal workers, state workers, county workers, municipal government workers, etc.) in the group took all of the pizza and portioned it out equally to themselves and all of their membership, about 10 % of the group, and sat down to eat while we watched in amazement and scratched our heads. Then our elected officials turned to the rest of us in the group and told us that we had to put more of our hard earned money together and buy more pizza if we wanted to eat anything. The leadership said, ‘We got ours, now you go get yours”.
More pizza was ordered, this time ON CREDIT because we were already out of money and we were getting hungrier. We had to eat, too. When it was delivered we even pulled the lint out of our pockets to scrape up the tip for the delivery driver. But this time the Democrat elected officials of the leadership stepped up to the plate in defense of the fat cats in the public sector union leadership and justified that it was in the contract that they negotiated and was irresponsibly signed off on by the elected officials (who are supposed to represent OUR INTERESTS) who didn’t read the contract or understand what they were giving away, so no tag backs. And if you have a problem with that, they send their staff of lawyers to run you around in circles. The government leaders really just didn’t care anyway, it wasn’t THEIR MONEY they gave away. As long as they received their campaign contributions in return from the bargaining organizations they were happy. So again they took all the pizza for their membership because they were still hungry and we owed them more, plus it was election time and they REALLY needed the votes and dues money from this special interest pressure group’s membership to promise them more pizza in the future.
After the public sector membership had their fill, Democrat elected officials again stepped up to the plate and this time and ushered the welfare recipients (those citizens receiving LINK, Medicaid, cash assistance, unemployment, whether truly in need, or those scamming the system but haven’t been caught yet) to the front of the line, justifying that it just wouldn’t be right to deny them, how dare you think differently, since these people have nothing and have been hungrier than the rest of the group, for much longer than anyone else, and should be entitled to eat before anyone else in the group who had any money left, but who also still have not eaten. Plus we REALLY need their votes right now, too. They’re not taxpayers, but are given free stuff by our elected officials with our money, and have no incentive or ambition to be productive citizens to earn money to buy pizza with like the rest of us. And why should the elected officials try to break their cycle of dependency? Free stuff with given away on your dime buys them lots of votes too! Reluctantly, the rest of us in the group (yes, the 90%) again backed off from another special interest pressure group’s ‘legal team’ defense made up of top state Democrat elected officials with law degrees and law practices.
The 90% of us are getting really ticked off by now, almost ready to have another Boston Tea Party. The Democrat leadership told us they ‘did us a favor’ and convinced (lied to) the pizza place that it was in their best interests to make and deliver more pizza, and the taxpayers would pay for it again when more money was earned in the private sector. Since most of us in the group worked jobs in private sector businesses, about 90% of us, it would add to the pizza businessman’s economic state since the pizza place was a private sector business, too, and he needed to make money to stay in business.
The pizza was delivered. This time the delivery driver was stiffed on his tip. The pizza businessman never received payment and eventually went out of business, since no one had any more money to buy pizza from him and already owed the credit card company for the last delivery.
There was a knock at the door. Our elected officials from the Democrat ranks in the federal government rushed to open it with a big, welcoming smile. “Look everyone, it’s our new neighbors who ’got lost’ and found themselves wandering across our federal borders. We can’t turn them away or send them back, not with all this pizza to eat. Come on in neighbors. There’s pizza for everyone! And after you’ve eaten, we’ll help you get settled into your new free home. We’ll get you a LINK card, Medicaid, cash assistance, free schooling for you and your children, healthcare from the best healthcare providers in our country, and jobs, jobs, jobs that ‘nobody else wants to do’. We’ll even print your languages on every sign and document we make (at our taxpayers expense) so you can feel comfortable and understand how to scam our system, too. You should think about inviting the rest of your family here too since there’s real talk in the air about AMNESTY and we REALLY need votes this time. The taxpayers don’t like us anymore and you’re our only hope, so we urge you to please fight hard to STAY HERE. We’ll even give you DUAL CITIZENSHIP!!!”
Are you as hungry as I am? What will the rest of us eat now? How many decades do we have to continue to go broke and go hungry while political cronies, nepotism hired and driven government employees (who’s vested interests are a guaranteed high paying government job with a guaranteed pension), illegal immigrants and welfare system scammers get special promises and treatment from our elected lawmakers who couldn’t be trusted with a legislative vote or a bill signing pen? Are you hungry and hoping for a real change – the RIGHT WAY?

Don’t complain about how things are if you don’t want to do the one thing that can release the chains that are binding our hands right now! VOTE for those who are committed to protecting OUR rights and freedoms, and are interested in fixing the broken system NOW for our next generations so they don’t have to do what we ‘couldn’t do’ ourselves during our generation – THE RIGHT WAY! Our future, our children’s future, and their children’s future depend on your help to do the right thing. Anything else would just be irresponsible.
